| I have applied four coats of Birchwood Casey's Tru-Oil, a gunstock finish. Notice how it beautifully darkens the cherry and brings out the figure in the wood. I simply wipe it on with a paper towel, and, between coats, I lightly buff the finish with OO steel wool. The oil dries in about two hours, so it is possible to apply many coats in a day. | ||||||||||||||||
